Hi, I’m Karen

A certified child sleep consultant and founder of My Restful Sleep. I am passionate about sleep and supporting families. I’m based in the UK, however, I can support English speaking families worldwide through my online consultations. I know what a difference life is when the whole family can achieve quality sleep. As a mum of 3, I understand the need for sleep and how the lack of it can negatively impact the whole family.

After my first child was born, I was exhausted and sleep deprived. Everything changed when I decided to hire a sleep consultant, my energy came back and every day chores became easier. I understand the frustration of desperately needing help and not knowing where to turn. With my passion for sleep and knowing how better life is when the whole family is sleeping well, I decided to train as a sleep consultant.

I have gained an OCN level 6 qualification in infant sleep coaching which was an in-depth science-backed training. I have also taken part in extensive training under Dana Obleman, the creator of the Sleep Sense program who personally trained me in her methods which have helped over 100,000 families around the world to improve their child’s sleep. This extensive training at the highest level has equipped me with all the necessary skills to help you on your sleep journey.

As a certified, child sleep consultant my goal is to provide you with guidance and support to achieve healthy and restful sleep for your little one. My approach is based on proven techniques and strategies that will give your child the tools to learn and establish strong, independent sleep skills that will last a lifetime.

It is easier to teach good habits first than to correct bad habits later on.

Sleep is vital for your child’s development and children often need assistance in learning how to develop healthy sleep habits. As your sleep consultant I will assess your child’s sleep challenges and I will develop a customised step by step sleep plan taking into account the best approach for your family. With my expertise, experience and training I will support and coach you through the process.

I believe having a well-rested child with independent sleep skills is the best gift you can give yourself and your family.
